Please expect traffic delays later today while President Donald Trump is in Charlotte. Some roads, particularly those near the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Carmel Country Club, will be closed completely for short periods between noon and 6 p.m.

Expect significant delays on Billy Graham Parkway, Interstate 77 and in South Charlotte in the Johnston Road and Carmel Road areas.

Drivers headed to or from the airport are asked to avoid Billy Graham Parkway. Drivers should access the airport via Little Rock Road, Interstate 85 or northbound Interstate 485 to Wilkinson Boulevard.
