Berkshire/Coventry Neighborhood Celebrates National Night Out

Tuesday, August 7th, 2018

Our neighborhood joined 38 million neighbors across 16 thousand communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide to participate in our first National Night Out event.

National Night Out was sponsored this year by NATW, Dietz & Watson, Ring, Associa, Package Guard and co-sponsored by Berkshire/Coventry Homeowners Association.

The purpose of this event was to promote neighborhood camaraderie, and promote police-community partnerships to make our neighborhood safer. Thanks to you, we were able to do that this year!

The event was advertised via Social Media, Neighborhood Signs & Website over the course of a month. We had ~120 neighbors participate in the event.

We would like to thank the following individuals & local businesses for their support and hand in making this event a huge success:

  • Mr. & Mrs. Jay Griffith, FrozenKups (Harrisburg, NC)
  • Mr. & Mrs. Piper, Berkshire/Coventry Neighborhood
  • Charlotte – Mecklenburg Police Department
  • Pizza Hut, Harrisburg, NC
