NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING
The Berkshire/Berkshire Neighborhood Association Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021 at 6:30 pm. Like last year, the meeting will be conducted virtually. During the meeting, new nominees for election to the Board of Directors will be introduced, along with budget ratification.
In the packet that was mailed recently, you will find a nomination form. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for election to the Board of Directors, please fill out and return the form by December 14th, 2021. You may only nominate someone else if you have spoken with him/her and he/she has agreed to serve on the Board if elected. Nominees are encouraged to join and participate in the meeting to assist with the introduction. Please return completed forms to the Homeowners Association at admin@hawthornemgmt.com FAX 704-347-4475 or to P.O. Box 11906 Charlotte, NC 28220. A written ballot including the nominees for the election of board members will be distributed following the meeting in order to complete the election.
The budget enclosed is adopted by the Board of Directors and shall be deemed ratified unless a majority of all the lot owners reject the budget using the written ballot distributed following the meeting. There is no requirement that a quorum is represented for ratification of the budget.
