Berkshire Playground Closure
As part of our community’s ongoing capital improvement and investment efforts, Berkshire Playground will be closed effective immediately to begin demolition and full replacement of the existing play structure.
Berkshire Park was originally built in 2005, and after two decades of use, the playground has naturally reached the end of its functional lifespan. Materials, safety standards, and accessibility expectations have all evolved significantly since the original installation. A full modernization ensures that the space continues to meet today’s safety guidelines, supports inclusive play for children of all abilities, and provides a durable, low‑maintenance amenity that will serve our community for many years.
